Rockin' Rebel Look

Last year, the boots trend really kicked into high gear. This year, a new style of boots has been added to that crazed collection. This boot is perfect with your blazer inside of school and great with a sweatshirt at a Saturday football game. Yes, it's the combat boot. This boot has been out there for a while but this year it's really making it's breakthrough. Why? Well, it goes with almost every style! You can wear this with your lace top, sweatshirt, or blazer and it will still look fabulous! The combat boot matches up perfectly with skinny jeans, of all different shades! That's what makes it so different. With brown Uggs, it only goes with dark jeans, black boots go with dark jeans, not this boot! You can wear it with your dark skinny jeans, of course, but it also goes with lighter jeans too, making them more useful and also stylish! This boot is great with everything and gives you an edgy look, you'll look pretty, with a hint of bad.

5 Trends Under $30

As we near the start of October, we kick our fall fashions into high gear and pack away our summer memories until next year. Being a teen, shopping for clothes can be uneasy with a strict budget. Here I have 5 new hot trends that are below $30 to help you out this school year!

(The paragraphs numbers correspond with the numbers on the pictures below)

     1) This shirt I bought from Wet Seal. Not only is it a baseball tee shirt, which is sort of like a flow top but with fitted sleeves that cover up to just below your bicep, but it also states three of the top fashion cities of the world, London, New York, and Milan. This shirt is is super cute and can go with dark jeans or black!
     2) This shirt is also from Wet Seal. It's super chic with its thin, gauzy material and it's mysterious not at the front. This is definitely one of those shirts you'd wear to a haunted hay ride or a Saturday night party.
     3) This is another baseball tee. These shirts are just like flow tops and are 100% in style this season! Plus, the geometric design is eye catching and really stylish. Pair these with some dark jeans and boots and you have the ideal outfit for school, everybody will be stopping you in the halls. I got this shirt at Bob's Store
     4) This belt is one of my favorites! I got it from Amuse, in my local mall, and it goes with almost every shirt I own! This belt's silvery color adds an element to your outfit and makes it less boring. It also comes in many other colors such as broze, gold, blue, blue and gold, and soft pink. You can't live without one of these!
     5) These jeans I got from Hollister are perfect for any day, and any activity. You may already be wearing jeans every day but especially when you're wearing flow tops, letting the back pockets show adds a cool extra to the outfit, since it's pockets have a fun, unique design!

Have fun exploring what you can find for cheap and stylish! If you find anything you love feel free to email thechiclizard@gmail.com or make a comment!

Fine Fall Fashions

Fall; football games, haunted houses, sleepover, apple cider, school sporting events, what's not to love about this season? And although sweatpants and a sweatshirt seems like the only option when your watching your school's football team Friday night, there are some way better options on night's that aren't so cold. Let's take advantage of the warm weather while we have it! Whether you're headed to school or to your best friend's house for a weekend party, staying in style is key, no matter how tempting it gets to just wear your pajamas to school! Let's save those for those Friday night games when the weather is nippy.
I've mentioned this before but especially now that school has started, flow tops are the best tops. (Hint: Forever 21 is the best place to get them, especially now!) They don't just make your body look good but they are the best trend out there besides skinny jeans! Everybody's wearing them, it's essential to have at least one! Pair up your new flow top with a nice pair of skinny jeans! Flow tops match perfectly with skinny jeans like peanut butter matches perfectly to jelly. Plus, it creates a stylish and cute look! Now, we can't just walk around barefoot, can we? Of course not! Especially not at the beginning of boot season! Find a pair of nice boots, calf high, ankle, biker boots, fringe, anything that goes! Your outfit will be complete and you will be getting "Where did you get this from?" questions all day long!

Fall-Fabulous Ideas

With the fiery leaves starting to crisp and fall, and the weather beginning to get breezy, we pack away all our bright, eccentric summer colors and patterns and say hello to fall! I've mentioned numerous times that color is what can make or break an outfit. However, during the season of fall, neutrals are more the thing to go with the scenery. You know, grays, blacks, creams, and even some pink is great for fall and school! In addition, the weather is starting to get a little breezier and chillier. Sending away our short sleeves isn't always the easiest thing to do but there are so many marvelous winter shirts on the racks now! And, fall is tricky, it can be hot or cold. Well, I found a three quarter sleeve shirt! Push up the sleeves when it's hot, leave them down like a sweater when it's cold. It's something I can wear from fall to spring! The best, part it's also a flow top! It hangs loosely off the chest creating a chic look that is in. And it's gray! Pair it with some capirs and Sperry's and it's an outfit! I suggest taking a trip to Hollister where I found my top, they have it in many different colors and neutrals!

This is the shirt I bought. (Don't mind the wrinkles)

Fall Fashions: What's In and What's Out With Jeans and Shoes

Fall is slowly creeping up. Pack away your bikinis and flip-flops, it's jean season! This year, to come along with fall colors and neutrals, boots are the new hot thing. This fashion really broke out last winter but it's carrying over! I have 5 fashion do's and don'ts for you when picking out your outfits with jeans and boots and other shoes this fall.

1) DO wear skinny jeans with calf high boots. Skinny jeans are the hot thing, everybody's wearing them, duh! Well, this style fits perfectly into calf high boots, and create a great look. Pair them with a flow top or a knit sweater on top.

2) DON'T tuck ANY boots into flare jeans. Over the years, flare jeans have made their way out of the fashion world. Well, they're back. Heads up though, they're only for the taller chicks. Whenever you wear flare jeans, don't ever tuck any type of boot whether it's a 3 layer fringe or Uggs. With these jeans not being so tight, when you tuck them in, which will be difficult in the first place, it looks wishy-washy and not put together. No one wants that.

3) DO wear ankle boots with skinny jeans. Ankle boots are just another great style of boots. Although calf high boots look the best with skinny jeans, ankle boots are a close second. Again, the jeans tuck perfectly into the boots and create a chic style everyone will die for.

4) DON'T wear shoes without a heel with flare jeans. Flare jeans are meant for the taller girls now. Wearing something like an ankle boot that you don't tuck in or just a basic wedge will make the outfit look great and cool! However, wearing flats with jeans ruin the look that makes you look as tall as you are, making you look shorter. And as I said, flare jeans are NOT for shorter girls.

5) DO wear flats with jeggings. Wearing flats with flare jeans isn't a smart move but with jeggings, it looks fabulous! Not every shoe you wear with jeans is going to look great with jeggings but flats do! It creates a sleek look for you and adding the perfect shirt to the mix sums it up!

Take these rules into consideration, we all want to look hot this year, right?

Fabulous Fall Jewelry

Jewelry and accessories are a great part of an outfit. They can make or break an outfit. This year, neons and rubber bracelets are out. The new look is teal, silver and gold, for a more mature and fashionable look. I have five pieces of jewelry, to give you some ideas on what great accessories you want for fall this year!

1) Necklaces with animals and symbols are a great way to go. They create a mature yet mysterious and chic look. Whether it's an owl or the Eiffel Tower, a great necklace is eye catching and fashionable too!

2) Bangles are another great accessory. There are so many colors to choose from! Well let me be the first to tell you that you can kiss the oranges and yellows goodbye and eliminate them while picking a few out. Why? Colors like that clash with outfits and it makes you look non-collected. I do love color, but color means having flowers on your blouse not neon skinny jeans. When choosing which one of these Indian bracelets you like, choose silver, it goes with almost everything!

3) Dangling earrings can add a lot to an outfit, depending on what you're wearing. However, sometimes simpler is better. If you're sporting a blouse then don't wear a pair of your cutest silver hoops! It takes away from the shape of the blouse rather than adding something that it would add to a flow top, per say. Something like little diamonds, or even tiny little bows, will do just fine and look super cute!

4) Bracelets and flow tops are like peanut butter and jelly, a perfect pair. However, the fad of big breast cancer bracelets is out. Something like a charm bracelet from pandora or a tiny silver little bracelet of any style is a better, more mature, look. It adds a chic element to the outfit.

5) Starting into middle school is the start of some more mature jewelry, like rings. Again, using the amazing colors of gold and silver, there are rings out there dying to get with an outfit! Pick out a medium sized ring that's, of course, gold and silver for an outfit of yours this year. With rings, abstract styles like a funky twist of a dotted oval are the best choice. See who you attract this year!

Find your forte in jewelry and what will help you spice up a great outfit! You'll be cool, chic, and unstoppable!

This bracelet is made specially.

Cute Capris

The beginning of September is that awkward time where it's too cold for shorts but too warm for jeans. Therefore, it's the perfect time for capris! Denim capris with a rolled up cuff are the way to go this fall. Why? Because this style goes with any winter or summer shirt hence, your options have widened. Cuffed capris are always in style and they look great with a flow top for school! The best place to get capris like these is Aeropostle. They're form fitting and have many different shades and colors. Until the weather gets chillier, pick out a nice set of capris to go with all those fab shirts you just bought for school!

Both of these capris that go down to
three inches above the ankle are form Aeropostle.

5 Fall Fashions Not to Wear

All this time I've only told you what great trends you should be wearing but not what you shouldn't. I have five fashion "trends" that you don't want to go near for this school year! Take a look to avoid a fashion embarrassment this year!

1) Don't ever mix two different patterns. Most of you already know this but mixing two different patterns like floral and stripes causes confusion and makes your outfit way too busy. Not to mention that most patterns don't clash with another pattern well at all.

2) Stay away from loose jeans. Although some people like looser jeans better than the feel of skinny jeans, loose jeans look messy. They tend to look baggy and unorganized, making the buyer look like a mess! Skinny jeans are really the way to go, they are the biggest trend but if you're a tall girlie than you can also wear flare jeans with some heel boots underneath.

3) Never wear orange and brown together. There are a lot of colors that go perfectly together, brown and orange is not one of them. Those two colors create a dark combination and make you seem gloomier than you really are, instead of trendy and full of happiness and color! Just be careful, too much color can make the outfit look childish and will ruin it.

4) Don't wear checkers. Patterns like checkers are not the way to go. Checkers look very confusing and are defiantly not a trend! Flowers are a more mature pattern and look cleaner and prettier.

5) Don't add to much neon to an outfit. It's fine to wear a neon t-shirt to gym class but neon is really for the lower grades, girls. Wearing neon in a regular outfit is too bright and often doesn't pair well with many other articles of clothing. Color is great but that means a pink blazer, not a neon yellow flow shirt!

Use these tips to help you stay in style instead of out of it this year! You'll look great!

Fashion Tip: Tights Are Tight!

Leaving summer to go back to school is never easy for kids. No one wants to give up wearing shorts and skirts for heavier winter clothes just yet. Right? What if I told you that you didn't have to? Here's my simple tip: Tights are tight this year! What does that mean? What I'm trying to say is that tights are no more a 'grandma thing'! When fall starts to bring in the cool weather you don't have to pack up your skirts until spring! Instead with your pencil skirts, you can wear wear a colorful pair of tights underneath with ankle boots! This look puts a wintery twist on your average spring-summer look. Oh, and it's amazingly cute and totally in! I would suggest wearing ankle boots with the outfit to have it's best affect but if you don't own any, black flats will do fine as well. Using a black or white skirt, or in my case the black and white striped skirt from Forever 21 I have, will do the best since they go with every color tights and of course, have the tights match the shirt!

This is my pencil skirt.
It goes with a whole range

School Shoes

School is around the corner! Now's the time to stock up on what you're going to wear the whole year! And what's in for the winter is boots! Whether you're a student or a working woman, boots and jeans are the way to go. Tall boots make you look, well, taller and ankle boots are an adorable touch! I found suede black boots just from Payless to go with all my jeans through the whole winter! And you don't have to be a teen to rock these kind of shoes, tall boots look great on woman! Wear them with your jeans or your suit pants for a stylish look at work! For teens, tuck your jeans into them for a chic look that will get everyone going! It's the latest trend!

I bought these cute boots

London Look

London is such a beautiful and iconic town. Who wouldn't want to visit? However, what they are most known for is their signature style of effortlessly fancy. While walking the streets you would notice high heels, lace tops, mini hats, and these dresses that you'd die for. It's every girls dream to go shopping in London! If you can't get a plane ticket, here's how to make it work in America. London's style has much detail and little things that make that piece of clothing adorable. Remember when I mentioned how lace is something that you should defiantly where? Well try a full on lace flow top, to start. Lace is very detailed, which the people of London love, and what it does it start right off your neck so when you're wearing a cami underneath it gives of two different shades (one of your skin underneath and one of the cami) which is incredibly brilliant and chic! I found my top like this right at Forever 21, no plane needed! Pair a top like this with capris, shorts, or skinny jeans and you have a look Pippa Middleton would adore!

Forever 21 and is completed

Sheer is Savvy

Here enters the exciting time of going back to school shopping. As the new school year approaches, girls everywhere flee to the mall to stock up on this year's new trends, including me of course! There are many stores with many options to choose from, however, one thing you defiantly want to look for is some sheer! Sheer tank tops or even button downs or thin cardigans give off a quick burst of color and add a simple element to your outfit. Sheer looks very chic and pulled together while also being thin. Since it's a thin material, many girls choose to wear colorful camis underneath. Hence, this will be an outfit exploding with color and cuteness! Many sheer items tend to stick to your chest then flow for the rest, sowing off what you got! It's absolutely perfect for the fall and spring, you can wear them with pants or capris! Sheer makes you feel pretty, when you look even prettier!

Bringing in the Big Knits

Since summer is slowly coming to an end, it's time to go back to school shopping! There are so many great pieces of clothing out there it's hard to pick and choose. Well, here's one style that you must have for this year: big knits. Cardigans, sweaters, or even beanies with a thick knit design are defiantly in this season to give off a complicated but comfy look. Big knits come in so many different styles! Try a cardigan with a skirt. Or a cropped sweater with jeans and boots. Even a beanie to complete an outfit looks great, especially with the incoming weather. Try something, even if it's small, that has a big knitted material and see how you look. I choose a blue cardigan from aeropostle that works with skirts and jeans!

Fashion Tip: The Rule of Leggings

Over the past year, leggings have really come back into style. The thing is, many people don't wear them how it's supposed to be. What? There's a rule about wearing leggings? Absolutely! Here it is: When wearing leggings, make sure that the shirt you're wearing covers your butt. Leggings are a piece of clothing made to cling to your body. If you're going to wear leggings without any skirt of anything on top, make sure that you're shirt covers your butt. Why? Otherwise, your whole butt is showing and leggings aren't meant to show your butt (If it's not meant to do something it's not going to look good doing it) and it also makes your shirt look too small and puts out a bad image. And of course, it just doesn't look put together! If you take a shirt with a long tail or a band to cover your butt though, the outfit looks chic and complete and you'll look great. I like to wear a shirt I got from H&M with a band covering the butt so the outfit looks great!

These leggings (not as wide
as they seem) go perfect with
this shirt from H&M that covers the
butt completely.

Believe In Blazers

How annoying is changing outfits a couple times a day? You're lazy during the day but have a party or night or the temperature changes during the day. It's the worst but it's for the best, right? What if I told you there was a simpler way? Ok, I've mentioned plenty of times how fashion tanks are essential during summer and how floral printing is unbelievably adorable. You know what looks great with a tank as described? Blazers. Yes, blazers. Although they were originally made for men, they now come in numerous colors and look very coordinated. The best feature, if the night is chilly as you party it up, keep on the blazer but if it's hot weather, take the blazer off! Your still wearing an adorable fashion tank. Blazers look so cute, especially on taller girls, and give a pop color without making you change into completely different outfits! Give it a try and tell me what you think! I know you'll love it, even the hottest celebrities like Blake Lively and Taylor Swift wear them!

Find What Shorts Fit You

Everybody has their own unique skin color and not every shade that our denim comes in can pull it off. That's why I have the key to finding out which shade of shorts you should wear to suit your skin color.
Okay Irish babes, let's talk about fair skin. Out of light and dark wash, dark wash would be the better suit but instead, try a colored denim to give you color, just make sure it doesn't wash you out. Try blues instead of yellow, which will wash you out.
Now for the tan chicks. You know, the ones who sit out and then sun and turn golden. Dark wash is something you can defiantly pull off but classic denim is the best. It's not to dark and shows off a fantastic tan and goes with blonde, black, and brunettes, as well as red heads.
Now it's time for the chicas who are a beautiful shade of chocolate. Dark wash is you best choice here girls. It goes with you darker skin better than any other skin color, so show it off!
Try these new looks on yourself this summer and notice how fab you look in them yourself!

Amazing Amusement Park Outfits

Going to the Amusement Park means a day full of activity and fun! However, wearing sandals and jewelry isn't exactly comfortable when going from ride to ride and walking around large parks. But wearing a t-shirt and sweat shorts isn't exactly attractive for this sort of setting, especially with all the people around. Save the t-shirts for camp, I have the perfect outfit that will keep you comfy and cute when your screaming your lungs off on roller coasters! In stead of wearing some old t-shirt, substitute for a v-neck and cami. V-necks are completely comfy but colorful and cute, it totally screams summer! And just to make sure you're covered, pick out a matching cami to go underneath. To go with your top, try regular jean shorts. They're cute but average and every v-neck goes with them! Duh! For me, I choose an orange v-neck from aero completed with a colorful image of a pair of sunglasses, a brown aero cami underneath and some basic light-wash jean shorts from my local Target. It kept me comfy and chic throughout the day as I scampered the park and if it worked on me, it's guaranteed to work on you too!

This is the outfit described
above.

Raging About Rompers

Tanks and shorts during summer is like peanut butter and jelly. However, sometimes it becomes a little, well, plain when you wear them every day. But what other option is there? Ever thought about rompers? Rompers are a style that screams summer! Besides late spring, there's no other time to sport them so why not show off as many as you can while you can? A romper with a floral pattern pairs well with the weather and shows off a nice summer tan. Rompers show off your body's shape and also help you look sophisticated and stylish. I suggest trying out a floral pattern. Flowers are beautiful in general, why shouldn't look good on a piece of clothing? In addition, flowers add a prettier touch to your piece and look good with any shade of skin and any hair color, guaranteeing a great look for everybody! Try out a romper to shake up your normal style and add some floral in the mix for an extra spritz of beauty!

it's plain it's extra little
details still make it amazing.

5 Summer Accessories

Whether you're headed to the park or shopping in the strip mall, colorful accessories add colorful flare that sums up an outfit and brings it to life. Summer is filled with color. Why not play with it? I have five bright and extravagant accessories to complete your summer look.
  1) During the sunny weather, sunglasses are an essential item to keep the sun out of your eyes but also add a cool style to your outfit, even though they're on your face. Add a pair of sunglasses with a cool pattern like floral or zebra to your mix this summer to create a flare that well suits the weather
  2) While cruising the mall or going out to dinner with friends, why not spice up the usual wallet your carrying around? This season, choose a clutch wallet with bright colors and a cute pattern! For example, try pink and stripes or blue with polka dots! It will add color to your outfit as well as a fun touch!
  3) Are you wearing fashion tanks and shorts this summer? Well, the perfect accessory for an outfit of that sort or any summer outfit is a large necklace. Instead of a normal heart chain, trade for a big beaded or feathery necklace for a chic look.
  4) Necklaces aren't the only piece of jewelry that comes big and bright! To match a big necklace, add a, we'll, big bracelet! For a boho sort of look, try thick bracelets with beads and gems. It provides a look of pure chic taste!
  5) Heading to the pool? The beach? Quit carrying around the standard drawstring bag to carry your towel and lotion! Swap for a nice, patterned tote! It's big enough to carry all of your beach essentials while keeping the look instead of clashing it. Try roses, animal print or zig zags and have people beg to be you down by the shore!

The Perfect Night by the Shore Outfit

During the summer, we all love to hang out at the amusement park or go to the boardwalk or go to a restaurant down by the bay with our friends. This is the whole point of summer! After all, we wouldn't want an outfit that's lazy or mis-matched to take away from the night. Good news, I have the perfect outfit to do all three of these, or any other fun summer activity! Throw on a fashion tank, as I've said before, it gives off that summery touch even if the nights get cool. And since they often do, match that top with a pair of capris or even jeans if it's late summer or if it feels right for the night. Here's a little tip: choosing a shirt with ruffles gives off a better look of your body. I recently purchased a fashion tank from Forever 21 completed with ruffles all around in shades of grey and black. For now when the nights are warm I pair the top with dark capris but once the temperature starts switching to fall mood it's time to pull out dark wash capris, or even better, black skinny jeans. Match your own fashion tank with capris or skinny jeans for a comfy and cute look for a night out with the gals. With the slight wind pushing back your hair sweetly, you'll look priceless.

This tank paired with
a pair of dark capris (keep
in mind these capris aren't as
wide as they appear) pull off
an amazing summer night outfit.

Lovely Lace

One of the most complicated and beautiful materials is lace. The problem is, when people think lace, they think of frilly, big dresses or ugly designs. That's where they're wrong. Lace comes in modern patterns that are simply beautiful and eye catching. Lace provides a fancier touch to an article of clothing but depending on what kind, it can still keep the piece looking easy and modern. Keep in mind that too having a full lace shirt or a shirt with too much lace can be overwhelming. Try something like a shirt with a lace border or a lace tank with another layer underneath. Pair it with denim or any kind of shorts (except athletic shorts) to create a great outfit, like I did. I found a pale pink lace tank top with a sheer layer underneath it. I paired it with dark denim shorts from Hollister to create a fun, summery and amazingly cute outfit. Wearing fashion tanks that flow off of body rather than stick skin tight paired with shorts, capris, or jeans for those really cool nights is the ideal outfit. Adding lace to the mix makes the outfit even more perfect. Try a fashion tank in this style to be in sinc with this summer's styles. Also, pick something up with a little lace in it to add a chic touch to your outfit! You'll look fabulous.

This top's design pops off the chest
and flows off your body to create a
stunning look. The top layer is a
beautiful lace and the second layer is a
pretty sheer.

Fashion Hat Fun

Fashion hats are everywhere in stores, especially during the spring and summer. Eyes always look to them but for some reason, we never try them on. Maybe we should. The perfect accessory for a summer outfit when your walking to the beach, hanging my the pool, or shopping in your local outlets, is a fashion hat! My friend was coming over to hang by the pool with me the other day. When she stepped outside when I was picking her up, she came outside with a yellow floppy hat from Target! This yellow hat matched exceptionally with her yellow fashion tank and blue shorts. The fashion hat gave a stylish and sophisticated look to the fun outfit. I suggest you try out a fashion hat to complete a bright outfit. Even though it's only an accessory, fashion hats can create a whole new look and feel to an outfit. There are fashion hats for everyone. They come in a series of styles, like floppy or fedora, and a sequence of colors, like blue or yellow. Hats aren't for everyone but if you find one you love or looks great on you, go for it! It's a summer-stylish addition and it adds attention. I suggest looking for a floppy hat for the summer, it does the jobs of making you look fantastic and blocking out the sun. You can wear fashion hats anytime of the year, certain styles for certain seasons. Try Target, especially if that's somewhere you don't usually go. For simple prices they have a wide selection of fashion hats, you're guaranteed to find one to fit you and your style. Don't ignore that fashion hat sitting on display next time you're out shopping. Go for it, not many people do, and you'll be unbelievably unique, a great thing to always be.

very own floppy hat that she got

Ditching Denim

Denim is an essential item during every season. As much as I love it and need it, it's ordinary. Why don't we switch things up? Just substituting denim out for a different material can make all the difference. Let's face it, when we're shopping for pants or shopping for shorts our brains automatically think to look for denim. Hence, everybody wears denim pretty much all of the time. Let's change that story and bring out some eccentric flare. I was in desperate need of new shorts this summer and when I went into Abercrombie,I'll admit, I started looking at their denim shorts. Then, something caught my eye. A pair of navy, suede shorts. Well, personally I had a lot of shirts to match this particular color but the point is, I found something new and exciting instead of denim that serves as the same  purpose! I could feel eyes on me as I wore them at a local restaurant. I also noticed the same thing when my friend wore the same pair. Navy is the same color as some denim shorts but the feel of wearing suede shorts gives you that classy look and feel. It could make a simple v-neck look stunning. I highly suggest trying this new style out, it's a break from the normal routine and it's great for summer. It'll make you feel classy and stylish and it's a totally breath taking summer outfit.

These Abercrombie shorts
are definitely not denim and
they have a great feel and look
to them. And no, for all you worriers,
they're not as short as they appear to be. ;)

Brighter Is Better

Bathing suits are one of the most worn articles of clothing during the summer. As we know, it's hard choosing one that looks good. Well here's a little tip: brighter is better! Choosing bathing suits with colors like baby blue, orange, yellow, pink, or lime green for example, are guaranteed to look good on any body. Whether your super skinny or have a filled in figure, bright colors give you that pop that is priceless. I found a neon pink and orange bikini from Aerospotle that gives a total wow look. Another bathing suit that I own that I bought from Burlington is completed with gold, red, yellow, blue and green. Something with a color scheme like this is sure to have someone's eyes go 'Woah!', no matter what size you are. From bikini babes to one piece cover-uppers, bright colors do the trick. And spice up your ordinary bathing suit with something that compliments you and has something unique about it. Ditch the ordinary one piece for a one piece with ruffles for example! No matter how you feel, choosing a better colored bathing suit or even better, a brightly colored bathing suit with a unique twist, will make you feel good and look good and all of your bathing suit qualms will have vanished into thin air.

Simply Adorable

During the time off of school, people don't want to be taring apart their closets looking for a cute outfit. Therefore, summer outfits consist of denim shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, and athletic shorts. However, what people don't realize is that just pulling a fashion tank top out of your closet can make a huge difference in your outfit. Don't get me wrong, regular tanks and denim shorts are great for the beach but when let's say going to the mall or a friend's house, it's not really eye catching or fashionable. When I'm not going to the beach or running around, I don't want to wear just a t-shirt and shorts but I didn't want to look like I spent an hour picking out everything to the last earring. So I found an effortless outfit that looks amazing. All you have to do is pull out a fashion tank top! As you may have noticed during spring, it's time to pull out your floral patterns. I took a simple floral fashion tank from Aeropostle and matched it with just a simple pair of shorts from Target. If you have a tank top like this, that can go with light or dark washed jeans, then you scored a perfect outfit. It looks comfily chic and it doesn't take a while to match with a pair of shorts. Summer vacation is a time to hang back and relax and just switching your shirt to something a little bit more fashionable can make all the difference in two seconds. I recommend trying this technique and you'll look and feel better while doing all the things your summer has planned for you.

On top is a floral fashion tank
that is stylish but not to complicated.
On the bottom is a pair of denim shorts.
You can pair a shirt like this with denim
shorts lighter, darker, or equal shading as these.

Summer Sandals

Summer is the season of the open toed shoe. But with all the bumming out at the beach during this time of the year, it seems like flip flops are the only open toed shoe option. Hello? Are we forgetting about sandals? Sandals are those shoes you can simply find anywhere and can complete any summery outfit. They're a perfect way to show off tan legs while sporting shorts and gladiators (sandals with a zipper back) go perfectly with jeans for those cool nights by the shore. It's that shoe that really screams summer but in a  way that's trendier than the casual flip flop. The thing is, people search at expensive places to find a perfect sandal when they're closer than you think. My oldest pair I got last spring just at Payless, believe it or not. It's a bronze gladiator that works especially well with my jeans. Now, my newest pair I bought this spring and they're Minnitonka. For those unfamiliar with the brand it's known to be expensive. However, I found them at Bob's for only $35! These sandals have three little tassels and I love wearing them with my capris and shorts. They pull out that high-end side even though it didn't have the cost of high-end shoes, which is a great deal considering these shoes are adorable and unbelievably trendy. Sandals are that perfect, pull-togehter shoe and fancier flip slops (you know, not the beachy type) are also a great thing to have. But, nothing has that same effect as sandals.
Here are the Minnitonka
sandals, complete with
chic little tassels.
These are the Payless
shoes. The perfect style
to go with jeans.
