Summer is a time where all the rules simply seem to vanish. Nights get longer, mornings get shorter, and outfits are no longer restricted by dress codes. The question is, how to do still look cool in all this heat? This summer, some old trends have made their way back to the top. Converse and Vans are more in style than every right now- so girls (and even boys) don't be afraid to wear your favorite pair (anywhere!). Whether you choose those shoes or go for something more simple, pair it with high waisted shorts- jean or chiffon. Don't get me wrong, the low waists still find their way in through the fashion crowd however high waisted shorts have really been a hit this summer and you'll find many stores are carrying tops designed to be paired with high waisted bottoms! (I suggest grabbing a pair of acid washes or a solid black). On the subject of tops, don't be afraid to grab a simple crop top for a party or night out. When you're going to the beach or just relaxing in the sun pick up a tank with a cute saying or picture on it- remember vintage is always in style.
Summer is a break from school- not fashion! These tips will get you all ready for summer concerts, parties, and well just lazy summer days!

Stay Warm in the Winter
It's common to see old styles from the 80's and 90's in the modern world. However, they're comeback comes with a little altering. Girls now walk around with the cropped sweaters and high waisted jeans except the hair happens to be more sleek and they're most commonly found with boots on rather Keds or sneakers. One style that's being seen more commonly worn is high socks or leg warmers tucked into boots.
Even though it may sound outdated and stupid, they keep you surprisingly warm and look good with almost any top. Wear them with leggings and maybe a sweater, or a sweatshirt on cold days or with a nice jacket if you're walking around the city. They even go with long sleeve tees. You can choose anything between really thing socks coming just below your knee to athletic socks when you run out of regular socks to wear. This style, however, looks best with tall Uggs (please no short ones!), leather boots, or of course, combat boots! Keep this style in mind as you struggle to stay warm on this chilly winter!
